ScrapRack User – Tip of the Day: Use Ring Binder Insert Strips to add things to your ScrapRack.

Use Ring Binder Insert strips in your ScrapRack.

If you've got product information, project ideas, or magazine clippings you want to keep with your craft supplies, consider adding them to your ScrapRack using Ring Binder Insert Strips.

These simple clear plastic tabs have holes down one side and an adhesive strip down the other.

Peel back the wax paper to expose the adhesive and stick the strip to whatever you want to add to your ScrapRack.

    • Amazon is the easiest place to find them. The big box office supply stores don’t usually carry them. Search Cardinal Ring Binder Insert Strip.

  1. Great product idea. Sometimes I purchase a product that I want to put in my SR without unpacking. I usually fabricate binding out of cardstock or cardboard. This will save a lot of time!

  2. Tiffany or staff: I’m organizing my craft room for about the umpteenth time, but this time it’s coming along. My question is in regards to the extra Scraprack plastic inserts. What is a good way to keep them available close to the Scraprack and organize to the point of getting the right one from my stash of these sheets to use in the Scraprack?

    • Hi Ruthann –
The easiest way to control these slippery pages is to put them all on a Spinder and into a Spinder Binder, or if you have room on your ScrapRack, put them at the front or back of your rack. As you probably already know because they are clear, it is difficult to see the lines of the pockets. I used Shut Your Flap tabs to label each of the “sections” based on pocket design.
