I designed this card to work not only for Valentine’s Day, but for any special occasion throughout the year – could be an anniversary, a loved one’s birthday, or any day you just want to let someone know you care! I’m over on the Crafter’s Companion blog today as well with a second tutorial, so pop over there to see it by clicking here.
If you’ve missed any of the tutorials I’ve shared for my entire Signature Collection, you can see them all here!
Supplies:
Directions:
Step 1: Trim papers to fit the front of the easel card.
Step 2: Die-cut two lace hearts using white card. Die-cut the scalloped edge die using kraft card and darken the edges using distress ink Gathered twigs.
Step 3: Affix one of the hearts to the scalloped kraft card heart and the other directly to the stepper card front.
Step 4: Affix ribbon and bow to the card. Die-cut the word ‘Love’ using kraft card and affix to card front.
Step 5: Die-cut three irregular hearts using white card, affix to card front to finish.
Tip: Using ink through dies (inking before you remove the card from the die) adds great dimension!
