Tip 28 - Adding Ribbon to your organization system

This tip is targeted towards those of you (us) who are NOT ribbon junkies. Add your small amounts of ribbon right into your 4 section organization system.

Put colored ribbon in the rainbow section, themed ribbon (like sports or birthday) in the themed section and holiday ribbon in the calendar year.

One simple way to do this is to use a piece of sturdy chipboard and wrap the ribbon around it. I cut this chipboard into 11.75″ x 5.75″ – just the right size to slide into a Vertical Double Page Pocket.

One of the ribbons I was going to wrap around this card had some stains on it, so into the purge box it went. That left me with less ribbon, so I was able to cut the card down to fit in a Fabulous Four pocket page.

I put the card into a Fabulous Four page in the Orange section of my ScrapRack. If you’re not using a ScrapRack, you can add the card into whatever storage tool you are using.
